Melaleuca Awards
About the Melaleuca Awards
Power and Water's annual Melaleuca Awards were developed in 2003 to recognise outstanding achievement in environmental excellence in the Northern Territory. Over the past seven years we have recognised and rewarded numerous businesses, community groups, schools and individuals for being environmental advocates.
Now in their eighth year, the 2010 Melaleuca Awards are seeking entrants over six categories; Commercial/Industry, Community, Individual, Schools, Small Business and Environment Grants.
Territorians who are re-using, recycling or reducing energy and water consumption, being innovative in sustainable principles, conserving resources, promoting climate change awareness, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving business sustainability are encouraged to nominate to win an Award.
Entries for the 2010 Melaleuca Awards close on Friday 7 May 2010 with the Awards being presented on Friday 4 June 2010 as part of the inaugural Top End Sustainable Living Festival.
