Power and Water Corporation is pleased to sponsor the Rotary International District 9550 conference ‘Energy, Development and Diversity’, in Darwin, 2,3 and 4 of May.District 9550 covers more than 1.5million square kilometres and covers the Northern Territory and Queensland north of the 22nd parallel, Thursday Island and Timor Leste.
Under Rotary’s Group Study Exchange program the conference will also be attended by delegates from Ireland and Norway. The program enables young professionals to broaden their horizons by learning about developments within their own field, in other countries. The Norwegian contingent has a special focus on Energy.

“Rotary is known throughout the world for the practical and goodwill work they do in the community. Power and Water is not only delighted to provide sponsorship for the conference but to assist with hosting the Group Study Exchange group from Norway.

As part of the vocational day, Power and Water will facilitate visits to and information about, what is happening in the Territory in terms of renewable energy.
