Power and Water welcomes Rotarians and Norwegian contingent

Power and Water Corporation is pleased to sponsor the Rotary International District 9550 conference ‘Energy, Development and Diversity’, in Darwin, 2,3 and 4 of May.

District 9550 covers more than 1.5million square kilometres and covers the Northern Territory and Queensland north of the 22nd parallel, Thursday Island and Timor Leste. 

Under Rotary’s Group Study Exchange program the conference will also be attended by delegates from Ireland and Norway. The program enables young professionals to broaden their horizons by learning about developments within their own field, in other countries. The Norwegian contingent has a special focus on Energy.

As part of the vocational day, Power and Water will facilitate visits to and information about, what is happening in the Territory in terms of renewable energy.
