One week to get Melaleuca Awards entries in

Territory businesses, schools, individuals and community groups have one more week to apply the finishing touches to their nominations for Power and Water Corporation’s Melaleuca Awards.

The Awards were developed in 2003 to recognise and reward outstanding achievement in environmental excellence.

Nominations are welcome from commercial/industry, community, individual, schools and small business sections and environment grants are available.

All category winners, plus the Chairman’s Prize, are eligible for a $1,000 prize and free water audit.

Entries close next Friday 7 May 2010, with the presentation of the Awards taking place on the eve of World Environment Day, Friday 4 June 2010, as part of the inaugural Top End Sustainable Living Festival.
