20th Anniversary of the World Solar Challenge 2007

This year celebrates the 20th anniversary of the World Solar Challenge. The challenge is the only solar car event to traverse an entire continent. The challenge is open to cars that are powered solely by the sun, but there are other event categories.

This year, the challenge will commence in Darwin on the 21st October, departing from the front of Parliament House. Vehicles have until Sunday the 29th October to reach the finish line in Adelaide.
