Water Wise Residents in Tennant Creek

Two water saving residents in Tennant Creek were thanked recently after their quick thinking saved litres of water from being wasted. Having heard about the actions undertaken by local resident Idmaran Johnson and plumber Wayne Green to fix a leaking tap, Water Services General Manager, Paul Heaton, sent a letter of appreciation accompanied by a water conservation bag. "In the Territory we use up to three times as much water as the rest of Australia, so to hear about individuals doing their bit to save water in the community should be acknowledged” Mr Heaton said.
