Info on Darwin River Dam area

Darwin River Dam is designed to spill over once it reaches capacity. Power and Water does not release water from the dam.

Due to heavy rains, Darwin River Dam has reached capacity and additional water will now flow over the spillway. People who live in the area who are concerned about flooding should call Emergency Services on 1800 888 901.
