Essential Services Tariff Increases on 1 July 2011

In line with the NT Government's Electricity Pricing Order (for non contestable customers) and the Water and Sewerage Pricing Order, there will be tariff increases for water, sewerage and electricity services in the Northern Territory from 1 July 2011

Electricity will rise by CPI, which is determined to be 2.8%.  Water and sewerage services will rise by 20%.  For more information about tariffs in the Northern Territory, see the tariff brochure or go to the Utilities Commission website for more information about the pricing orders.

These increases better reflect the cost to deliver power, water and sewerage services to all Territorians.
