Water Monitoring Trial - Santa Teresa

The annual event, held on Friday 14 October, recognises and rewards the Territory's most innovative thinkers and problem solvers. Ultimately, celebrating those in our community who through their dedication in creating new knowledge to find solutions to problems and come up with innovative ideas which have helped the Territory prosper economically, socially or enviromentally.

There were several award categories with the Santa Teresa Water Monitoring Trial being announced as a finalist in the Desert Knowledge category.

Santa Teresa is the first Northern Territory remote community to take part in a six month trial of smart water meters. This trial will help identify water leaks and general consumption patterns right across the community. For more information on the trial, read our media release or fact sheet.
