New GM of Strategy and Corporate Affairs

Mr Devereaux brings over 16 years of expertise in the energy industry and extensive experience in the banking and pharmacy wholesale sectors. He has been the Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of Networks at Aurora Energy in Tasmania.

Most recently he ran his own consultancy business to the energy industry which saw him as the Acting CEO of the Energy Networks Association for six months.

He has managed many major projects including the disaggregation of Tasmania’s Hydro-Electric Commission into Hydro Tasmania, Transend Networks and Aurora Energy. Mr Devereaux’s key skills are in financial management with expertise in organisational transformation and culture change.

 As General Manager of Strategy and Corporate Affairs he is responsible for Power and Water’s strategy, planning, stakeholder management and policy.

Mr Devereaux is a Fellow and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow CPA, a member of the Financial and Treasury Association and is a graduate of the Harvard Executive Leadership program.
